By Pieter Kirstein James 1:26 If any man among you seems to be religious, and bridles not his tongue, but deceives his own heart, this man's religion is vain. James 2:12 So speak, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty. Matthew 12:33 Either make the tree good and … Continue reading THE POWER OF LIFE AND DEATH IS IN YOUR MOUTH

Dear Almighty God, Jesus tells us... "But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you." Matthew 5:44 Through the enabling of your Holy Spirit, I will do this. Please remind me to pray … Continue reading A Prayer For Today
An important reminder every day…
“Whatever you do, do it enthusiastically (literally, do it from the soul), as something done for the LORD and not for men (Ephesians 6:7), knowing that you will receive the reward of an inheritance from the LORD. You serve the LORD CHRIST.” – Colossians 3:23-24 HCSB
“The Breakup Song” by Francesca Battistelli is brand new and worth listening to. So poignantly real for anyone who has been battling with fear…. Talking about the song, she says “Fear is a universal struggle. We all deal with it in different ways, but it holds us back from truly living. I came to the point where I decided I wanted it out of my life for good. This song is my anthem, and I pray it encourages others to break up with fear too.” (http://francescamusic.com/home) She is living the verses in Colossians, sharing her songs and her belief in JESUS CHRIST so beautifully…

Amen to this ✝️🙏❤️
Although this was a familiar scripture for me, I had a wonderful revelation of what it means to me today.
16 When evening came, his disciples went down to the lake, 17 where they got into a boat and set off across the lake for Capernaum. By now it was dark, and Jesus had not yet joined them. 18 A strong wind was blowing and the waters grew rough. 19 When they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus approaching the boat, walking on the water; and they were frightened. 20 But he said to them, “It is I; don’t be afraid.” 21 Then they were willing to take him into the boat, and immediately the boat reached the shore where they were heading.
This was after the event of Jesus feeding about five thousand men with just five small barley loaves and two small fish.

Down that long road alone?
You’ve taken your last step
But there’s still a mile to go
It seems like you have to battle
Uphill through ice, sleet, and snow
Weary knows that look on your face
As you falter in a step outside of grace
Wondering if the fight is yours alone
Willing to give it up for a cold stone
At that exact moment in time
When you’re covered in grime
Who will help you carry the load
Along this abandoned stretch of road
Oh to hear that gentle voice of love
Rest now says His voice from above
Let me shoulder that burden for you
Trust in me I’ll see you through
As the pain drains away
You see for the first time
That He walked beside you
The entire long way so grim
As most of the load was on him.

I would like to quickly look at the passage from John:
John 20:15-16 (KJ2000) ” 15 Jesus said unto her, Woman, why do you weep? whom do you seek? She, supposing him to be the gardener, said unto him, Sir, if you have borne him away, tell me where you have laid him, and I will take him away. 16 Jesus said unto her, Mary. She turned, and said unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Teacher.”
So much is in this verse. I need to weep. I need to seek.
Mary Magdalene sees Jesus resurrected. She recognizes Him when she hears Him say her name.
She then turns. She repents.
She says Rabboni.
or be my teacher, Jesus.
Rabboni also means master and Lord.
What did Mary Magdalene hear when Jesus said her name?
It was something recognizable. Was it like the authority my parents have when they speak…
